The Eagle Awards have been cancelled for the 2008 vote (to be held in 2009). Failure to acquire a venue for the Eagles due to the scaling back of the Bristol Comics Expo coupled with a lack of nominations which made it difficult to provide fair choices for voting have led to the cancellation.
