The following award nominations should be based solely on work published during 2008. Except where otherwise indicated, they cover creators and work published in the US and Canada only (irrespective of the country of origin of the work or the nationality of its creators).
Nominations close on March 22 2008. The top five nominees in each category will go forward to the voting round, which begins on March 31st 2009.
